Earlier this week, Turn 10 launched the Forza Motorsport 2 Complete Collection. The title, part of Microsoft's Xbox 360 Platinum Hits, is a two-disc edition that features all of the track and car packs available to download from Xbox Live Marketplace.
Disc one features the game we all know and love, and disc two provides two extra tracks; Twin Ring Motegi and Road America, as well as nearly 350 additional cars. Priced at $19.99, it's something of a bargain for race-fans, but it's currently only available in North America.
The complete re-release will come as welcome news to new Xbox 360 owners looking to pick up the game, but it has managed to annoy those who've already paid for the add-ons. The five packs of downloadable content released so far amount to 1,850 MS Points. That translates to $23.12, on top of approximately $40 on the game itself.
With the bargain price of the complete collection, many are now speculating that the downloadable content will ultimately be made available for free. Turn 10, however, has yet to comment.
If you're thinking of picking up Forza Motorsport 2: The Complete Collection, you can look forward to the following additional content on the bonus disc:
- September Car Pack
- December Car Pack
- March Car Pack
- Nissan Tournament Car Pack
- Limited Collector's Edition Car Pack
- Nissan Fairlady Z Pre-Order Car
- Road America Track Pack
- Twin Ring Motegi Track Pack
