Bethseda continue to tease us with some more sumptuous screenshots from its upcoming post nuclear role-playing game for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Similar to previous Fallout games, Fallout 3 takes place in post-apocalyptic United States. For 200 years, Vault 101 has faithfully served the surviving residents of Washington DC and its environs, now known as the Capital Wasteland.

Though the global atomic war of 2077 left the US all but destroyed, the residents of Vault 101 enjoy a life free from the constant stress of the outside world. Giant Insects, Raiders, Slavers, and yes, even Super Mutants are all no match for superior Vault-Tec engineering.

Yet one fateful morning, you awake to find that your father has defied the Overseer and left the comfort and security afforded by Vault 101 for reasons unknown. Leaving the only home you’ve ever known, you emerge from the Vault into the harsh Wasteland sun to search for your father, and the truth.

Looking fantastic has to be said. Looking forward to getting my hands on it.

Shame that the Australians arn't getting it. From what I have seen about the net it has something to do with content and it has been stopped already.
Man, that's looking good. I'll definitely be picking up the PC version unless the game has some serious flaws. :)
Yeah, its a toss up between 360 and PC for me. At the min it is swaying more towards 360 as I'm reckoning the PC version will have stupidly high requirements.
I'm pretty sure I played the first Fallout game back in late 1990s. Loved that game. Didn't look at number 2 but 3 looks awesome.

Is it me or was the first game turn based or am I confusing fallout with x-com (I played loads of PC games between late 90s and early 2000).
Looks great, any idea on ETA?
