At the Microsoft Game Studios event, which is taking place in San Francisco attendees have been treated to the first look at “Gears of War 2,” the sequel to the critically acclaimed third-person tactical action game.

A trailer will be on show, which should be online later today, that will show a campaign sequence from early in the game – where Marcus Fenix and COG forces engage in pulse-pounding firefights between two Derrick transports, fend off vicious Reaver fly-by attacks and rabid Brumaks – all in the same level.
