Courtesy of Sierra Online, this week sees the release of Boogie Bunnies, a brand new puzzle title for the Xbox live arcade. Boogie Bunnies has been branded “an imaginative color matching 3D puzzle game” by the developers and will involve players using their wits to keep a herd of bunnies out of danger. As the name suggests, they’ll also be plenty of dancing as you visit exotic locations where you complete extensive chain puzzles to trigger funky bunny dances. The game features Classic, Arcade or Endless game modes that players can join in for some furry fun either online or offline in two-player cooperative and competitive modes.

Boogie Bunnies shimmies its way onto Xbox live arcade this Wednesday, 16th January at 9:00 a.m.

In other Xbox live arcade related gossip, there are number of other new titles set to be added over the next few months. The first will be Poker Smash from Indie developer, Void Star Creations, a title that incorporates gameplay elements found in today’s puzzle games and adds a poker twist to the mix. Joining it will be Rez HD, an updated version of the Dreamcast and PS2 classic shooter, and Lode Runner, a complete remake of the famous platform game.

Finally, we have news that French developer Gameloft will be taking a leaf out of the Nintendo book and will release Brain Challenge. Xbox live’s first brain training game boosts brain activity and helps players develop stress-management skills in fun, innovative ways, thanks to a wide variety of games spanning across math, reasoning, memory, focus and logic. Dr. Kawashima must be shaking in his boots.

Looking forward to seeing how Brain Challenge turns out. Brain Training on the DS is super, but I wonder if the concept won't be as appealing without the DS stylus? That's one of the things I really like about it.
I do like the sound of Brain Training, but Parm has a bvery good point - you can't very well shout at your 360. Well, you can, but not for voice recognition.

Out of that entire article though, all I want is a release date for Rez HD.
