Playable Halo theme
It doesn't sound like a match made in heaven, but Guitar Hero 3-owning Halo fans will no doubt be grinning from ear to ear to hear the news that the Halo theme is now downloadable and playable from the Xbox live marketplace.Grammy Award winning guitarist, Steve Vai has lent his musical talents give the theme a rock edge and it's totally free!
Earlier this month, Activision released the Velvet Revolver and the Foo Fighters track packs, priced at 500 Microsoft points each.
The Velvet Revolver Track Pack includes master recordings of “Messages,” “She Builds Quick Machines” and the 2004 Grammy Award winner for Best Hard Rock Performance, “Slither.” The Foo Fighters Track Pack includes master recordings of “The Pretender,” “This Is a Call” and the 2002 Grammy Award winner for Best Rock Song, “All My Life.”
