Courtesy of Play.Tm, we have some brief, but interesting news from the PlayStation Holiday Preview Event in in Toronto, where Rockstar have revealed that they are aiming for 16 player multiplayer on Grand Theft Auto IV. Furthermore, it's rumoured that every area in the vast Liberty City will be unlocked from the beginning, allowing players the freedom to go where ever they want from day one.

GTA IV is currently due for release in 2008.
