Wii Fit improves health, but at what cost? £6.55 apparently.

Another pointless survey, carried out by the ladies' car insurance company (sexist), Sheila's Wheels, claims that women are leaving behind a £20 million pound trail of destruction after rigorous bouts of playing Nintendo's Wii Fit video game.

The Daily Telegraph reports that 'flower pots, television sets and even pets have been sent flying by the high kicks and hula hoop motions of increasingly vigorous home exercise routines'. Out of the 1000 women polled, it's claimed that a fifth of those have damaged something in the living room.

Based on the data gathered, the car insurer concludes that each woman is responsible for £6.55 worth of damage.

Exercise guru Diana Moran has some decent advice for those over-enthusiastic women.

It's really important that people are adapting their work-outs to the limited space they have in their homes.

"For example, if you don't have enough room for a full aerobics session then concentrate on toning with hand-held weights and smaller resistance exercises,"
she told the Metro.

What are women doing having fun anyway? Shouldn't they be in the kitchen or putting the washing on the line or something? Video games are for men.

Joke! (But, why don't men have a car insurance company just for them?)

Because when men have things that exclude women it's ‘sexist’ when it's the other way round its ‘empowering’ and can also be classed as ‘girl power’

I would like to propose the equal olympics, men and woman against each other in the same events…that would take them down a peg or two.

They do more or less - what's the betting that specialist car insurers for young drivers with modified cars that can't get insurance elsewhere has a rather disproportionate male take up? :p
