Recession hit gamers who are in the market for a PSP this Christmas would do well to head over to HMV's website where it has slashed the price of Sony's PSPgo to £148.99, £70 less than the orginal RRP of £225.

Many websites have already knocked approximately £25 of the original asking price, but HMV has now set the bar for other retailers to follow. According to HMV's Twitter feed, the offer is "very limited."
