PS3 Home closed beta begins
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has yesterday began the first phase, closed beta test for Home, the 3D, online, avatar based community for Playstation 3.
Starting with an initially small group of both internal staff and known beta testers, the test will be opened up to many others at some point during the summer, including those registered on www.homebetatrial.com.
Playstation Home allows PS3 users to interact, communicate, join online games, shop, share private content and even build and show off their own personal spaces to others in real time. Home will be available as a free download from the Playstation Store and will launch directly from XMB (XrossMediaBar) on PS3.
