We have no idea whether the offer is kosher or not, but a guy has set up a web site offering you the chance to win a PS3 if you can hack his site.

The anonymous owner is offering a 160GB PS3 pre-installed with the Fedora core 5 PPC + PS3 add-on Linux distro and a copy of Sony's Resistance: Fall of Man.

What do you have to do to win this prize?

You must do a "clean" hacking job to replace the image of a baby that is currently on the site.

Of course, this could be an attempt to get as many hits on his website as he can possibly muster, but if you're up for the job why not give it a go.

I'm guessing the idea is that this website is hosted on a PS3?

Yep, it's hosted on a PS3. Was looking around the forums connected with site, seems like a lot of French people involved in trying to hack it at the moment.

He's going to make a mint. I notice he wont ship the PS3 til Jan either. When theres not so much excitement about them and you can pick them up for less than $5000 :P
