Sony's Playstation 3 has received plenty of critisism over the past few months but ultimately it's the gamers who will decide whether to invest Ā£425 in the next gen PC/console.

Thousands of gamers were invited to test the PS3 at a Sony Expo in Honolulu over the weekend where they tested out the likes of Resistance: Fall of Man. According to reports, from the likes of The Seattle Times and the Montgomery advertiser, gamers were stunned at the games on show and were in no doubt that they'll be picking up a PS3 on November 17th.

Read the initial report, which includes words like 'wow' and 'crazy'.

Hi, just thought i'd point out that you have a little typo in your post, games instead of gamers.
“Sony fanboys wowed at PS3 awesomeness”

Can't see any haters going to that can you?

My judgment is reserved until I touch it and go “ooooh”
I can't wait to see all the new games look different from the their previous incarnations slightly, its going to be awesome.

Splinter Cell 23: Another Short Story is going to be superb too, it will be like playing all the old games with extra cool new graphics. Its rumoured by Sony to have 20,000,000 times the power of the old game but its not fact yet…

Oh and Metal Gear Solid 18: Snakes and Ladders will be good too, even though it will look same as Splinter Cell and play the same…its going to be different somehow.

And look out for plenty of other generic stealth 'em ups and Need for Speed versions (1 every 3 months would be good, with new stickers on the cars and a new intro!).

Cynical, me? Never!
Yeah, I'd like to actually hear from these people. 4 comments out of thousands doesn't convince me.

Possible error?

They were in doubt? :)
