Sony President Phil Harrison has spoken to the Guardian and confirmed that over 10,000 development kits have been shipped and more than 100 games are in development for the Playstation 3.
"We have shown more playable games than ever before, so the signs are good and right now there are more than 100 Blu-ray movies available today in the US. More than 100 games are in development, and all the major third-party publishers have pledged their strategic support for the platform," he said.
According to the article, Harrison appears chuffed with Sony's progress on the PS3, and despite the high profile resignation of the Manager of Developer Relations recently and the non-commitment of some developers, they'll be overjoyed that the PS3 is right on track, not only for the launch, but hopefully for a bunch of decent launch titles. In fact Sony have already told us that they "expect the best launch line-up in history.'
Lets wait and see, eh.
