eDimensional, Inc., a leading developer and manufacturer of gaming accessories has announced the G-Pad Pro Gyroscopic Gamepad. With proprietary VRMS (Virtual Reality Motion Sensing) technology, the G-Pad Pro delivers a next generation gaming experience to current model Playstation 2 consoles and PCs.

Featuring a robust 12 button analog configuration, the G-Pad Pro adds intuitive and precise motion sensing technology to improve gameplay performance in virtually any genre of gaming. Rotate the controller on multiple axes to gain four additional control options in three dimensional space. The result is advanced new movement functions and a smoother, more dynamic ability to control in-game action. Additionally, users may experience decreased hand fatigue compared to standard keyboards or controllers.

eDimensional CEO Michael Epstein states, “We’re positively thrilled to offer revolutionary motion tracking technology to the current generation of console platforms and games, allowing gamers take advantage of unique new control options for their favorite titles. We feel validated by the fact that the major console developers are embracing this technology as the future of gaming.”

The VRMS programmable driver allows users to set, save, and load custom settings on your PC, or adjust control sensitivity with the touch of a button on your PS2. Gamers can combine the control options of a mouse, keyboard, joystick and more onto a single multi-functional controller. Use the G-Pad Pro like a racing wheel or flight yoke, or sit back and put all of your input devices at your fingertips with added realism and precision. The G-Pad Pro also features dual-motor force feedback technology officially licensed from Immersion.

The G-Pad Pro is expected to start shipping in July 2006 direct through eDimensional and at a variety of retail distribution partners worldwide.

let's be fair here, there was *already* a “ps3 styled controller” for pc, about ten years ago - the microsoft sidewinder freestyle pro

it sorta sucked
To clarify, the pad looks identical to the PS3 controller and has the same motion tracking technology used in the PS3 controller.

Did see a pic, but it has vanished into thin air.
That controller + flying in BF2 =
