Gran Turismo 5 release date set for November 2

And we thought it was never going to happen! From Sony's E3 press conference, which has been dragging on for almost 2 hours now, comes news that Gran Turismo 5 will be released on November 2nd, 2010.

Polyphony Digital's Gran Turismo 5 features a brand new damage modeliing system and an exhaustive list of cars, including electric cars, such as the Honda Insight and Toyato Prius. Furthermore, approximately 170 vehicles will feature realistic interior damage modelling.

Should be good, and now we have a firm date to pencil in our diaries! Yipee!

Hinting at the inclusion of the Red Bull F1 car :)

They were also at Lemans showing off there at the weekend so there's more Lemans footage on youtube aswell.
