Go make another sandwich

There were a few raised eyebrows at the official Playstation forums over the recent news that the PS3 version of Devil May Cry 4 takes approximately 20 minutes to install, but most didn’t seem to mind the wait as long as it improved the gameplay experience and it was assumed that it would probably be a one-off issue.

Well, apparently it won’t be. It’s now been revealed that Capcom’s latest PS3 title, Lost Planet, which is due for release at the end of February, will also require you to install 5GB of data before you can play.

Capcom’s laughed off the Devil May Cry 4 complaints by suggesting that gamers should “go make a sandwich and grab a soda” while they wait. Let’s just hope gamers don’t get too sick of eating sandwiches, eh?

If this is going to be a regular thing for Capcom's games, why don't they just put their games on the PSN and let us download them to save us going out and buying the disc?

Thats a hefty install! At this rate I'll have to start looking at upgrading my PS3 HDD to something even bigger quite soon.

Defo worth upgrading your hard drive anyway. I went for the samy 250gb which you get for around £60.

People have, or are in the process of upgrading their drives anyway, and no need to worry about warranty or anything and it couldnt be easier.
