Rumours from an anonymous source, said to be a Sony insider, suggest that the electronics giant is planning to introduce a new Playstation 3 SKU in the Autumn.The source of the rumour is the gadget website, T3 who claim they were told at last month’s Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas (why wait nearly one month to bring us this breaking news?) that Sony are planning a slimmer PS3.
There has been no confirmation from Sony, but any fool and his dog could guess that they’d eventually look at a slimmer model, as they did with the Playstation 2.
It’s more a case of when it will arrive not if, but when it does it will be interesting to see whether Sony offer a larger HDD; 160GB would be nice.
