What next for Juice Games?

THQ’s recent financial report has revealed that they’ll no longer produce any more games in the Stuntman or Juiced franchises.

Last year, both Stuntman Ignition and Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights received lukewarm reviews and now the company obviously feels that there is no future for either of the franchises.

THQ has also confirmed that the PS3 version of Frontlines: Fuel of War and the PS2 version of Destroy All Humans!: Big Willy Unleashed on PS2 have also been canned.

I can understand why THQ aren’t continuing with the Stuntman franchise, but they only acquired Juice Games in 2006 and the studio seemed pumped up for the Juiced franchise and their long-term future seemed secure with THQ’s backing.

Despite this blow, it seems as though Juice Games will continue and rumours suggest that they are already working on an unannounced original next-gen IP
