Sony has confirmed that the Playstation Eye will be launched in Europe on 7th November at the price of £24.99.

PlayStation Eye is capable of capturing standard video with high frame rates of 60 hertz at a 640x480 pixel resolution, and 120 hertz at 320x240 pixels, which is "four times the resolution" and "two times the frame-rate" of the EyeToy, according to Sony

The bundle will come complete with the video capturing and editing application EyeCreate, which will be downloadable for free via the Playstation store.

Prior to the release of the Playstation Eye, Sony are releasing a number of compatiible games at the end of October, including The Trials of Topoq, Operation Create Feature and Aqua Vitae, which has been described as your own virtual fish tank.
