Faking it

Following the announcement that Team I.C.E had potentially completed the first Xbox 360 modchip, TeamSolix 360 show us how easy it is to fake a website offering the chip.

Yesterday it was revealed that the Team I.C.E website is ran by the same people who run Canadian firm Infinitymods. More and more gaming and modding websites are turning against the alledged scammers by claiming that the chip is indeed, a figment of their imaginations, to generate hits, exposure and possible revenue for their stockists.

TeamSolix360 have called upon those retailers who are affiliated with Team I.C.E to 'cease dealings with them'. By setting up a fake website claiming to have produced the modchip, TeamSolix360 have shown how gullible people can be to a few fancy graphics. If someone appears to know what they are talking about it's extremely easy to take these people at face value and part with money unneccessarily.

You've been warned.

Wow, can anyone say 10 year old?

I could do exactly the same thing to prove that anything is fake.
Check out the size of the chip - lol

Some people take things at face value, i know a few people who inquired into buying a chip yesterday as a direct result of the Team I.C.E scam.

I bet you've bought into a few scams in your time?

Never to my knowledge. I wasnt denying that it was fake, i was merly pointing out that you cant prove one thing is fake by faking something else.

I know what you mean, I think they are just trying to discredit it.

Have you never bought a mortgage(pay for three houses and get one) or had a loan or credit card? invisible money, the greatest scam every invented. Grrr I hate banks

I do have a credit card, but thankfully no mortgage, and the credit card is only there for dire emergencies and ordering off the net.
