The first details of Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for Nintendo DS have apparently been leaked confirming that the hand-held version will feature over 70 missions and 20 hours worth of gameplay.

The information comes from a leaked survey originally published on UGO, but since then the site has been asked to remove the details by Rockstar. That hasn't stopped other sites from quickly copying the information though, and Wired.com have been quick to re-post the details.

The Nintendo DS game will feature an open-world environment, a mature storyline about an up-and-coming young gang member, competitive and cooperative offline multiplayer, and 70 missions comprising 20 hours of gameplay. And like any good Nintendo DS game, it'll involve some stylus-based mini-games, like assembling a shotgun or hotwiring a car.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is an entirely original entry into the critically acclaimed Grand Theft Auto series, and Rockstar say it brings a new level of interactivity to its sprawling open environments.

With the use of the DS touch screen, players will navigate their way through the streets as they uncover the truth behind an epic tale of crime and corruption within the Triad crime syndicate, delivering the unprecedented amount of depth that has become a true trademark of the franchise.

A release date has yet to be announced and until we hear the official word from Rockstar the above information should be treated with a pinch of salt.
