There surely can't be a finer way of spending a Sunday afternoon then relaxing on the banks off the river, tugging at your rod, hoping to catch something. And I'm not talking about 'dogging' here, I'm talking about fishing of course and the return of Sega Bass Fishing on Wii.

Originally a Dreamcast exclusive, Sega Bass Fishing has earned the coveted title of 'The Most Successful Fishing Franchise of All Time' and this time round gamers will be casting off with Wii-mote and Nunchuk firmly in hand hoping to catch one of the four different types of bass.

They'll be 20 different lures to choose from and the option to choose the time of day or season in which you'd like to fish in. Those who know about fishing will know that this changes the behavior of the fish, their appetite and their depth. SEGA tell is that the game will feature 15 beautifully designed lake environments and four fishy game modes including Arcade, Tournament, Practice and Nature Trip modes.

Sega Bass Fishing is due out on Wii in 2008.

Got to have a reel attachment otherwise it won't compare to its dreamcast original, i'm sure someone will make one.
I've still got my Dreamcast reel… any chance of an adaptor? :P
