BT250v - Cradle and Charge

BT250v

The BT250v comes with a simple, but effective, charging cradle that allows you to slide the headset in to begin charging. Shaped to hold the headset tightly, out of the box you have to be quite forceful to get the headset in to begin charging.

BT250v

The BT250v features a built in rechargeable lithium polymer battery that gives a quoted battery time of 7 hours of talking and 200 hours standby. It suffers from the usual problem in this price category. That is, you don’t know the battery is going to die till it’s on its last legs; it would have been nice to see a small light display on the headset to indicate the remaining power.

Range performance from the BT250v was found to be accurately stated, a respectable 30 feet from the phone. Technology wise, the BT250v only sports the 1.1 variant of BlueTooth, which is by no means out of date, but does have a restricted shelf life.
