Conclusion
In-deep’s editing system is hugely impressive, and served us well throughout our tests, never raising the slightest whimper. Editing Edius SP with that system is generally a very enjoyable experience. The process is immediate, and the quality of output to external monitors is first rate.

Edius Pro might take a little getting used to if you’re moving on from the likes of Premiere, but it’s hardly the most frightening learning curve we’ve experienced and the program is generally intuitive and responsive.

Edius’s interface isn’t the most adaptable, however, and many newcomers will have to change to very different workflows from the ones they’re used to. But, from our perspective, the only significant disappointments were seen at the very start and end of the projects, with the limitations of HDV capture and export.

Early adopters of HDV who want to continue editing the way they used to with DV are in for a lot of disappointment and frustration over the coming months but the technology will mature and hardware and software developers will better find their way with it.

In the meantime, Edius SP and its cheaper sibling Edius NX for HDV help restore a generous slice of normality for those that can afford it. PW

It's broken.

Aria sell the biggest load of shyte I have ever seen. QC on their no-brand or dodgy unknown brand products is non existent.
Odd problem  I would have thought that would be a problem with the card than the monitor.

Try a different monitor with the same settings if you can
put my old monitor back and it worked ok
