Xcute introduces its range to the world of CeBIT 2006

Xcute has a small stand tucked in the corner of one of the massive mobile communication halls here at CeBIT but its products far outweigh the company's presence. On display is a number of handsets - model in production as well as near-final concepts that show a great deal of potential.
Xcute S50

Due to go into production within six month, the S50 is a six megapixel camera phone that's just 9mm thick. With its black plastic front and stainless steel back, the non-working prototype looked very impressive.

The S50 should also features a 16.7 million colour/24 bit LTPS TFT screen and offer AVI, ASF and MOV playback. With tri-band coverage and promised to tip the scales at 100g, the S50 shows a lot of potential. Hopefully we will have one in for review later this year.
Xcute DV50

Also of note is another Xcute camera phone, the eight megapixels DV50. Although quite a bit larger than the S50, the DV50 does have more tricks up its sleeve - such as 26 shooting modes and a 30fps MPEG4 recorder.

With the same screen quality as the S50 and SD card compatibility, the DV50 is definitely one to watch out for.
