Looks like something from Q-Branch
General Mobile is clearly having a good ol' time here at CeBIT. Its already given us the "World's first Double-SIM mobile with Windows Mobile" and now it's adding to its 'world's first claims' with the GM500 - the so called "smallest mobile phone in the world".
Pictured above, this Bluetooth packing watch-phone features a touch screen that would make James Bond want to send his customised Omega back to Q-Branch. As you'd expect, it's a little bit tricky to press the buttons on the tiny 1.5" screen, but that doesn't bother us, it's not every day you get to boast a watch-phone.
Here it is, next to my Ellesse watch. Granted, it's bigger than your everyday watch but hey, your watch can't call your mates now can it?
The GM500 packs a 1.5" OLED screen, 128MBs of internal memory and both GPRS and WAP. General Mobile, the caring souls that they are, realise that users won't be wanting to keep their wrists up against their ears to listen to calls and provide a Bluetooth headset as part of the bundle. The GM500 is expected to hit the market in Autumn 2008, unfortunately for you Bond fans, it won't be coming to the UK.
