Engadget looks to have spotted it first on Canon China's web site but LetsGoDigital has a more in-depth follow up. On what? Well, the next Canon digital SLR camera, the EOS 400D.
This, seemingly, is a 10.1 megapixel jobbie with an ultrasonic dust-removal system, a 2.5in LCD panel and an APS-C size (22.2 x 14.8mm) CMOS image sensor - not 35mm (36 x 24mm) as Engadget had original been suggested.
Of course, it could all be a massive hoax but we're spending today with Canon and hope to be able to give full - and official - details later on. Or squash the rumour flat.
