PRESS RELEASE
This October, Roberts will launch a Limited Edition of the iSTREAM2 in Pastel Pink, exclusively at Harrods. The subtle, pastel shade and matt finish of this Smart Radio is perfectly on trend, while the retro look gives the synonymous Roberts feel.
Packed in a beautiful wooden casing, the new Revival iSTREAM2 might have a nostalgic 1950s-style look, but the technology inside it is anything but old, as it includes the following advanced Smart radio features: FM, DAB and DAB+ tuners means you to listen to both local and national stations – all with crystal clear sound quality. The Wi-Fi connectivity means you can access Internet Radio and choose from over 20,000 radio stations & thousands of podcasts, with dozens of genres, from all over the globe. Thanks to the built-in music player, our smart Radios will easily connect to your PC, Mac or NAS drive and stream all of your music collection.
Stewart Mancey, Head of Harrods Technology: ‘More and more, we are seeing technology which is driven through both innovation and aesthetic, pieces which have been designed not only for purpose, but for look, feel and even fashion, without compromising on functionality. We expect this iconic new shade, designed exclusively for Harrods to be a firm favourite for gifting, as the trend for all things nostalgic, vintage and kitsch continues, in the technology arena, as well as in the home.’
Ease of use is key, and all Roberts’ Smart Radios can be simply controlled via the free UNDOK app – available for both iOS and Android. The iStream 2 also features Spotify Connect. So, as long as you’ve a Spotify premium account, you can choose from around 20 million tracks and play them directly on your Roberts Smart Radio.
The iSTREAM2 in Pastel Pink will be available from mid-October exclusively in store, from Harrods Technology on the Third Floor.
