London, 27th August 2015 – Raumfeld, makers of high-fidelity multi-room streaming speakers, is launching the Raumfeld Soundbar in the UK at the end of September. Advanced audio components together with multi-room streaming technology, intuitive controls and a stylish design, make the Raumfeld Soundbar a complete sonic solution for contemporary living rooms.
Together with its subwoofer, which comes included, the Soundbar produces a crystal clear and dynamic sound with a powerful bass foundation - the perfect soundscape for television, movies and music. The Raumfeld Soundbar is now available for pre-order at £999.99 and comes with a voucher for three months of the music streaming service TIDAL HiFi, plus free shipping. A real wunder bar German-engineered, the Soundbar employs sophisticated 3D sound technology together with six high-end full-range drivers to transform TV programmes and movies into immersive experiences. The system’s especially broad soundstage creates a “sweet spot” large enough to include everyone in the room. The elegant all-rounder, which is available in matte black or silk white, features a lacquered wooden cabinet with brushed aluminium accents and plays back music with the same natural tone and broad panorama of sound as movie soundtracks. Setting up the system is simple: HDMI with ARC makes it possible to connect the Soundbar and television via a single HDMI cable, while HDMI with CEC allows the system to be operated with a standard TV remote. After an initial pairing procedure, the subwoofer automatically creates a wireless connection to the Soundbar every time both are turned on.
The Subwoofer of the future: Sleek, wireless & easily placed
For full sound volume and rich bass, the Soundbar is supported by a subwoofer in an innovative flat design. An elegant, slim enclosure that perfectly complements the Soundbar is made possible by the use of three 130 mm long-throw bass drivers instead of a single large woofer. Powered by 200 watts, the Raumfeld Subwoofer delivers clean and punchy bass and is every bit the equal of its larger, boxier counterparts.
The Subwoofer wirelessly and automatically pairs with the Soundbar via a dedicated delay-free 5GHz radio path so that only a power cable is needed to operate the system. The Subwoofer’s ability to receive signals up to 10 meters from the Soundbar adds to the system’s flexibility in terms of room placement. Slide the Subwoofer under a sofa or discreetly behind a sideboard in either a vertical or horizontal position – it easily adapts to any room interior.
Multiroom-streaming
The Raumfeld Soundbar offers more than just realistic movie and TV sound: it’s an excellent option for Hi-Fi enthusiasts. Cutting-edge streaming technology supports even lossless files for CD-quality sound. Raumfeld also partners with a variety of streaming companies including Spotify, TIDAL and Napster plus provides access to many internet radio stations. Together with a smart TV, music from YouTube and various streaming services supported by the television’s operating system can be played back for even more options.
All of Raumfeld’s extensive streaming and multi-room functions can be easily and intuitively controlled with the free Raumfeld Controller App for iOS and Android smartphones and tablets. A remote fashioned from the same brushed aluminium as the Soundbar and Subwoofer is also included and can also be used to control major playback functions. Four preset buttons on the remote grant instant access to favourite streams, making it easy to fill your room with music without opening the app. The Raumfeld Soundbar works together seamlessly with other Raumfeld devices in a multi-room setup. Play the same music on all devices in perfect sync or different tracks throughout the home for an incredibly flexible whole home audio experience.
