London, UK, 19th November 2013: Pure introduces Evoke D2 with Bluetooth, a luxurious digital and FM radio with the option to wirelessly stream audio content from a smartphone or tablet.
Like the Evoke D2, Evoke D2 with Bluetooth takes design cues from the Evoke but has a clear identity of its own with a compact size making it perfect for kitchen or bedside use.
The Evoke D2 with Bluetooth (SRP £99.99) comes in a sleek real wood ‘domino' black or ‘glacier' white matt finish and is ideal for kitchen or bedside use. Evoke D2 is the third Pure digital radio to come with Bluetooth and sits alongside its big brother, the Evoke D4, which comes in matching colours and a complimentary design, and the award-winning Evoke F4, which adds internet radio and compatibility with Pure's Jongo multiroom speaker system. There are also non-Bluetooth versions of both the Evoke D2 and D4, which are available in either a real Walnut or Oak veneer finish.
Evoke D2 with Bluetooth is an ideal companion to the free Pure Connect* app which enables access to over 20,000 global internet radio stations, in excess of 200,000 free on-demand programmes and podcasts as well as millions of streamable music tracks via Pure's subscription music service. All content from the Pure Connect iOS and Android app can be streamed wirelessly to Evoke D2 with Bluetooth.
Benefitting from Pure's heritage of British design and engineering, Evoke D2 with Bluetooth uses highly energy efficient Class-D audio amplification to deliver the best possible sound quality, excellent battery life and low power consumption.
Leading edge features include an input for an iPod/ MP3 player, alarm, sleep and snooze timers, 20 presets (10 digital and 10 FM) and a kitchen timer. The radio can also be taken out and about thanks to support for the optional rechargeable B1 battery pack (SRP £27.99), which gives users over 30 hours of portable listening per charge.
