JBL debuts new products with distinctive design, innovation and studio sound quality at IFA 2013

London, United Kingdom. - JBL puts its trademark studio sound quality at the heart of product design for the latest introductions showcased at IFA 2013. This has been applied to four new products that will be unveiled a IFA - the new Synchros line of headphones, the Pebbles desktop powered speakers, the Spark wireless portable speaker and the Voyager, which is the world's first portable speaker with a subwoofer docking system.

JBL Spark

The JBL Spark is a wireless portable speaker that is a unique combination of outstanding sound, distinctive design and bright, fun colours.

The unique megaphone-like shape is functional and playful: excellence in speaker enclosure design stripped down to its essentials. JBL Spark puts the megaphone shape to good use, with two high-performance JBL drivers and a tuned bass port. The result is crisp, clean sound with a warm, rich bass response in a versatile shape that you can take anywhere. Available in five colours, the JBL Spark adds a splash of sound and colour to any room, whether you hang it on a wall, set it on a table, stash it on a shelf or lay it handy on a couch or cushion. Wireless Bluetooth streaming gets the sound from the player to the speaker, and JBL Spark fills the room with true, rich sound.

JBL Voyager

The JBL Voyager is the world's first portable speaker with an advanced subwoofer docking system. Detach the portable speaker out of the main system and it becomes a wireless Bluetooth®, go-anywhere, hi-fi speaker with a built-in SoundClear® echo and noise-free speakerphone.

The portable speaker features custom drivers, a lithium-ion rechargeable battery that gives five hours of uninterrupted playtime, and a speakerphone system equipped with SoundClear® noise and echo cancellation technology.

When docked, the combination of the Voyager's dual drivers and subwoofer brings you all the sonic muscle-power the world has come to expect from a full-range JBL home audio system. The dock also automatically charges that portable speaker so that it will be ready-powered for music on the move, while an AUX-in audio jack and USB port enables charging of smartphones and tablets.

For uninterrupted music enjoyment, seamless switching between docked and undocked positions ensures no loss of sound as the JBL Voyager stays on the same Bluetooth channel.

JBL Pebbles

The JBL Pebbles are a compact USB powered stereo speaker system for the desktop, with digital signal processing and SlipStreamTM Technology for outstanding audio, as well as an award-winning design.

The JBL Pebbles plug-and-play stereo speakers are designed to connect to a computer in the quickest, most efficient way possible - via USB. The minimalistic, curved design will seamlessly blend with any desk arrangement with minimal clutter due to built-in cable management the single USB connection to a computer.  An AUX-in port is also provided for smartphone and MP3 player connection.

JBL Synchros Line

The new JBL Synchros range brings world-renowned JBL professional audio sound to headphones. The new range comprises of five models - the S700 and S500 over-ear headphones, the S300 on-ears and the S200 and S100 in-ear headphones.

The S700 and S500 debut the patent pending JBL LiveStageTM signal processing technology. JBL LiveStageTM adds localisation cues to deliver a more lifelike listening experience, recreating the warm natural feeling of being "in the room" within the headphones. The result is a headphone experience similar to that of listening to music from a stage in front of you. JBL LiveStageTM gives the listener a greater sense of spatial presence and separation, with individual instruments and voices sounding richer and clearer. JBL Synchros headphones with JBL LiveStageTM bring the music to life in a way that consumers have never experienced before.

All of the models in the new range benefit from extended bass performance provide by PureBassTM technology. 

The S100 and S200 in-ear headphones are the first to arrive from the new line in September. Both are ultra-light yet powerful and are precision designed from die-cast aluminium, with metal accents on the ear pieces that stand out from the crowd.

Angled eartips provide a comfortable and stable fit for hours of listening enjoyment, while the powerful 10mm (S200) and 9mm (S100) drivers deliver JBL professional audio grade performance, with amazing clarity and resonant bass.

Both are packaged with one set of ComplyTM foam tips for superior fit, three silicone eartips (S/M/L) and come in Onyx and Glacier finishes.

The S100 comes in three different variants - a straight cable version, an MFI remote/microphone version for owners on the latest iOS devices and a universal remote/microphone alternative for owners of other smartphones. Similarly, the S200 is also available in MFI and universal remote variants.
