Created in London by Cambridge Audio, Minx Air 100 and 200 are two powerful, compact wireless speaker systems designed to play music from just about any phone, tablet or computer in superb, hi-fi quality.
Using Apple's AirPlay wireless system, Minx Air will simply connect to your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, as well as computers with iTunes.
However, Minx Air isn't just aimed at owners of Apple devices, it instantly connects with any Bluetooth enabled phone, tablet or computer so everyone can share their music, regardless of make or model.
Phones and tablets are now part of everyone's lives and are constantly used for checking mail, messages, news, Facebook, Twitter and more. But because connection to Minx Air is completely wireless, all the features of mobile devices can continue to be used whilst simultaneously providing room filling music.
As well as the tracks stored on a phone, tablet or computer, content from services like Spotify, BBC iPlayer Radio, YouTube and Last.fm can be streamed to Minx Air for a true room-filling experience. Best of all, once a device is connected to Minx Air using Airplay or Bluetooth, it remains connected and when other audio applications are started, they'll automatically be heard through Minx Air and the previous one muted.
Because most people's listening involves so much radio, and they don't always want to access it from their phone or tablet, Minx Air features an internet radio, available at the touch of a button. The Minx Air app - for Apple or Android - lets you search and enjoy 20,000 tried and tested stations from around the world. Once presets are saved on one smartphone or tablet, they'll also be available to other devices with the Minx Air app installed and directly from Minx Air (presets 1-5).
The Minx Air app offers much more than preset control: it allows volume adjustment, bass control and access to a range of EQ settings to tailor Minx Air's sound for any room. It also contains a tutorial for easy installation as well as step-by-step videos to simplify everyone's set-up experience, whatever device they're connecting with Minx Air. And to ensure everyone can access Minx Air with ease, a neat remote is also supplied to control power, presets, volume and bass.
But it's not just about streaming, both Minx Air systems also have good old-fashioned sockets on the back so you can hook up your TV or Blu-ray player and make the most of Cambridge Audio's legendary audio performance.
