i-cuff DV - latest version of the first and only camera eyecup designed for camera operators shooting with or without glasses

Raider Productions, Inc. introduces i-cuff DV for the consumer market – the latest version of the first and only camera eyecup designed for camera operators shooting with or without glasses.

Created by Emmy-Award-winning DP/cameraman Ira "I" Raider, the i-cuff DV solves the age-old problems encountered with round eyecups - how to eliminate all extraneous light from entering the viewfinder, reduce fogging, absorb sweat and protect the viewfinder.

"For years," says Raider, "It's either been wear a baseball cap, or have someone shield your shooting eye, or throw a large black cloth over the camera and yourself... all less than ideal ways to handle the situation. i-cuff DV is the perfect solution!"

Raider, who has for over decades specialized in magazine and documentary production for the major TV/cable networks and Fortune 500 companies, invented i-cuff DV for utility, versatility and physical comfort.

i-cuff DV is made from waterproof, breathable, washable and lightweight hi-tech fabric. It's is designed to fit all consumer video and film cameras such as the hot new DV prosumer cams. Its Velcro-tightening strap allows for individualized positioning and personalized fit.

For the ultimate in comfort, i-cuff DV’s contoured, wrap-around design features a thick, luxurious ultra-suede chamois, (good for over 100,000 rubs) to cushion your face during long shoots. And folks who like to shoot overhead, under arm, or down low, can rotate the i-cuff 45 degrees counter clockwise, allowing it to shade the viewfinder.

Versions of the i-cuff have been used by professional award-winning directors of photography and camera people worldwide since 1999. They've been displayed at NAB between 1999-2005 in the booths of Sony, Ikegami, Hitachi, JVC, Panasonic and Canon; and selected as one of the best new aproducts available to make shooting easier and more enjoyable.
