14th October 2011, Soundfreaq - maker of Bluetooth audio docks - Sound Platform, Sound Step and Sound Step Recharge - launches the Remote app for Android users. Enabling users to enjoy all the perks of Soundfreaq's line of audio docks, the Android compatible Remote app turns a smartphone or tablet into a remote control.
The Remote app is specially designed to work with Soundfreaq Bluetooth enabled audio platforms. Providing full remote control via the Bluetooth wireless connection, users can manage tracks, playlists, volume, bass, treble and "UB3TM" controls directly from their iPad, iPhone and now, Android devices. Users can view the track information and control settings from their device's screen.
Soundfreaq's line of speakers are Bluetooth enabled and allow users to stream audio from their devices to enjoy great quality music, movies, video, games and apps. Additionally, Soundfreaq's Sound Step and Sound Step Recharge speakers feature a USB power port that allows Android users to keep their phone charged when streaming.
With the new Remote app for Android, users can keep their Android device in hand while still controlling features including the power, volume and source selection from their Soundfreaq speakers. Now users can roam the internet, check emails or text friends, while listening to music and controlling their favourite playlists.
Soundfreaq's Android app is available for free from the Android Market and www.soundfreaq.com. The app works with Soundfreaq speakers, Sound Platform, Sound Step and Sound Step Recharge.
