Consumer electronics manufacturer and AV specialist, Hannspree , has today unveiled its new SK42" TV, the first model to be announced from the new Hannspree SK series of LED TVs. Designed to be the epicenter of home entertainment, the SK42 offers Full HD 1080P picture, HDMI connectivity, USB media player and Personal Video Recorder functionality making this inclusive lounge TV, the ideal host for HD gaming, home cinema, media sharing and much more.
The SK42 includes a built-in digital tuner ready to receive Freeview broadcasts and features a super fast channel scan for quick, hassle free set up. The EPG is user friendly and is supported by PVR functionality to record programmes onto an external storage device (via USB), and a Time Shift function to record ongoing programmes and watch simultaneously.
A well-balanced array of inputs enables the SK42 to accommodate a multitude of both retro and state-of-the-art add-ons. HDMI connectivity takes care of the next generation devices such as; HD cameras, Blu-Ray players and games consoles to deliver HD content in its true form. Traditional Scart accepts the input of devices from yester year, whilst USB and VGA inputs enable the SK42 to be transformed into the ultimate media centre with hook up to a PC, laptop or a USB drive to share and enjoy pictures, video and music.
Complimenting the visual performance and adoption versatility of the SK42 are Dolby Digital certified speakers. Embedded with eight different personalised audio settings, the audio system delivers realistic sound effects for an authentic home cinema effect.
With cutting edge LED technology the SK42 is less power hungry than standard LCD TVs and is equipped with sophisticated zero-watt technology which enables the SK42 to achieve a state of true zero power consumption while in standby mode via an energy saving switch. In addition, the SK42 features innovative ambient light sensor technology which automatically adjusts the TVs backlight as ambient light changes. This also reduces power consumption and extends the display's lifespan, as well as providing users with the most comfortable viewing brightness and optimal visual comfort. The SK42 boasts a super wide viewing angle of 178º for the ultimate viewing flexibility, and thanks to the advancement of LED technology, benefits from an ultra thin profile that is ideal for wall mounting .
The SK42's super slim form is enriched by a mirror black bezel with a brushed aluminium effect to represent the marriage of technology and style in the TV's design, which sits on a modern stylish base of reinforced glass .
