This extraordinary cable has been designed and optimised to ensure the lowest loss in the transmission of high-resolution video signals over long distances whilst fully meeting the standards of the latest v1.3 HDMI specification. The VDH HDMI Flat preserves the clear sharp images, accurate colour definition, vivid contrasts and the superb picture and sound detail of today’s High-Definition recordings and broadcasts; supporting all display modes/resolutions up to and including 1080p.
This cable uses high-density coated Oxygen Free Copper conductors housed in a robust, halogen free, cream coloured Hulliflex outer jacket. It is terminated with high-quality HDMI ‘Type A’ connectors with heavy gold plated contacts provide solid and reliable connections.
The HDMI 1.3 standard calls for a very high digital data throughput of up to 10.2 Gigabits per second, so this cable has been designed with a flat profile which was found to reduce crosstalk between the various signals. This has the added bonus of making the cable installation friendly allowing it to be run through more confined spaces such as behind skirting boards.
