Not a great week for AMD, marked by some as 'overweight', with their target price reduced. Intel are putting them under pressure with products that aren't even out yet. Now that's good hype!
Intel has profited a little bit, but not a huge amount. There's news been circulating for a while now that they'll be pruning out some of the not-so-successful bits of the business. Goldman Sachs upgraded Intel from 'in-line' to 'outperform' yesterday; the day accountable for most of this week's 2% rise.
Dell's dull and Google's just as bad... no killer ajax powered office apps this week, then?
Neither ATI nor NVIDIA have had great weeks, both seeming to have particularly shakey days last Thursday. Incidentally, ATI have scheduled their 3rd quarter financial results conference call for the 29th June.
When will we start seeing a bit more green again? Don't ask me, I just report the figures and comment for a bit of fun and insight! Still, let's see what happens next week...
