Really a promotion?
Rivet's stated promotion could be anything but. Every company has a CFO as one of the most senior executive positions, many also have a chief operations officer (COO) too, but you don't hear about chief operations and administrative officers too often.
Apparently Rivet's new responsibilities will include: supply chain, human resources, and information technology organisations. He will be replaced as CFO.
