VIA Announces July Sales of Over US$ 53 million
VIA posts 18.5% increase in sales revenues despite 
continued uncertain market conditions
Taipei, Taiwan, 1st August 2002 - VIA Technologies, 
Inc., a leading innovator and developer of silicon chip technologies and PC 
platform solutions, today announced net sales for July 2002 of NT$ 1.81 billion 
(US$ 53.77 million approximately).
On a sequential basis, this monthly sales revenue 
represents an 18.48% increase over June's figure of NT$ 1.53 billion (US$ 45.4 
million approximately). 
"These results reflect continued strong execution across 
all our product lines despite the uncertain market conditions," said Richard 
Brown, Director of Marketing at VIA Technologies, Inc. "We are confident that 
through our Project Canaan diversification strategy we are building a stronger, 
broader based company able to focus on both core and emerging market segments."
