London, 08 January 2009 - BullGuard announced today that Alan Case has been appointed as UK Sales Director.
Alan Case joins BullGuard from mobile electronics specialists, Mobility Electronics, where he held the position of Director of Sales and Marketing for the EMEA region. With broad experience in the mobile industry as well as the IT retail channel, Mr Case has worked with mobile operators such as T-Mobile and O2, and retailers The Carphone Warehouse and PC World.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Case said: "The primary objective will be to maintain momentum and continue growing our UK reseller base, whilst also supporting existing resellers with new incentives and programmes. By the end of 2009, BullGuard aims to become one of the top three Internet Security vendors in the UK consumer space. With our product and the best and most transparent revenue share model in the industry, this is an achievable goal."

The news of the appointment of Alan Case as UK Sales Director follows the recent announcement of the investment of over US $5 million from DFJ ePlanet Ventures which will be used to accelerate BullGuard activities in existing core markets - UK, Ireland, Nordics, Benelux, Australia and New Zealand, and to expand into Germany. The injection is a continued sign of investor confidence in the plans submitted by BullGuard and its ambition to become a leading supplier of Internet Security software for consumers.
Mr Case will take on his new role at BullGuard with immediate effect.
