The latter may change the way performance keyboards are made.

Tesoro showcased its Gram Spectrum full-RGB keyboard featuring what it calls Agile switches. The double-injection keys are shallower than normal, at 3.5mm, and feature a 1.5mm actual height. Offered in black and white and with nine effects available, the $139 price is consistent with the competition.

Perhaps more noteworthy was a prototype key whose actuation is defined by tripping an IR sensor. Shown on a demo board, the technology looks interesting. Take a look at the video and decide for yourselves.
