Mad Catz presents the Tritton Katana HD
Alex 'Big Boy' Verrey on the world’s first HDMI-powered gaming headset.
Still not entirely satisfied with the surround-sound output on offer from your gaming headset? Mad Catz reckons it can go one better with the Tritton Katana HD 7.1.
These lavish set of cans are said to be the first HDMI-powered solution for gamers and wirelessly carry eight channels of uncompressed audio from an HDMI device - be it games console, PC or Blu-ray player - to your ears at a range of up to 33 feet.
Tritton Katana HD 7.1 won't be available until March, but the minor wait will give you time to save as this premium bit of kit will set you back a cool £180. Check out the video above for further details or visit the official product page at TrittonAudio.com.
