Benchmarks: Noise
Those low temperatures do come with a potential caveat, mind you. Our trusty noise meter confirms that the Luxe Xtreme isn't the quietest PC on show, and though noise output remains consistent irrespective of workload, the machine is always clearly audible.
Is any one component the culprit? Closer examination reveals that the pump is reasonably quiet, but the same can't be said for all six Corsair fans. Four are connected to the motherboard and run at controlled speeds, however the remaining two (front intakes) are hooked-up directly to the power supply, making them faster and louder than they need to be.
