Benchmarks: Temperature and Noise

Good chip or great contact with the NZXT liquid cooler? Either way, we're seeing exceptional CPU cooling performance - so much so that we felt the need to re-run video encoding test to verify the numbers are correct. GPU cooling performance is very decent, too, with the Noctis 450's four chassis fans (three 120mm intakes and a rear 140mm exhaust) providing more than enough airflow.

The downside is that the system isn't quiet at any time. Idle noise level was recorded at 42dB, and though the system doesn't get noticeably louder when gaming, it is clearly audible at all times. For reference's sake, we consider sub-35dB to be quiet, and over 45dB to be loud. The Rapture Chaos MX1 is bordering on the latter.
