Benchmarks: Gaming
Over 11,000 3DMarks is by no means a bad return, yet while the score is in line with our expectations of a GeForce GTX 980, you would be forgiven for wanting a little more from a £2,000 machine. The most obvious comparison to the Trinity 300 is Scan's 3XS X99 Nanu Carbon - it costs a little less but courtesy of a GTX 980 Ti is a noticeable step-up in terms of gaming performance.

How much power you need is directly linked to in-game resolution. On a single full-HD panel (1,920x1,080), the Trinity 300 will quite easily be able to churn out high-quality games at a smooth 60 frames per second.

The real challenge is at 4K (3,840x2,160). On a high-res panel, the difference between GTX 980 and GTX 980 Ti is more keenly felt. Cyberpower does of course offer a GTX 980 Ti as an optional upgrade in its online configurator, as well as a GTX Titan X, but choose either of those and the price will increase to £2,165 or £2,494, respectively.
