It wasn't long ago that read and write speeds in the region of 500MB/s were considered blazing fast. Not anymore, and the above charts are interesting in that the Cyberpower Trinity 300 and Scan 3XS X99 Nanu Carbon make for a telling comparison. There isn't a lot between the two X99 systems in terms of price, yet the former has prioritised the aesthetic appeal of the chassis, while the latter focuses on speed with a PCIe SSD.
