Review: Scan 3XS Z97 Performance Q10

With a Core i5 processor at the helm, the Z97 Performance Q10 falls behind many of the Core i7 competitors in the multi-threaded Cinebench and Handbrake tests. Single-thread performance, however, is strong, with the overclocked chip returning excellent results in the PiFast benchmark.

A hyper-threaded Core i7-4790K is available as an optional £80 upgrade, though for gaming duties, the default i5-4690K should be more than sufficient.
