Benchmarks: Temperature
The Brix Gaming's under-load temperature results make for interesting reading. CPU cooling, it seems, isn't too much of an issue, and we didn't notice any CPU throttling throughout our benchmarks. The GeForce GPU, on the other hand, is a more difficult beast to tame.
Despite the two noisy fans working overtime, it doesn't take long for the graphics core to heat up beyond 90ºC, which explains the chip's need to throttle so dramatically. And given the space constraints of the Brix Gaming chassis, we can't think of any simple modifications that may aid cooling performance.
