Memory tests and single-threaded performance

Memory bandwidth isn't quite as good as we might expect. The SCAN system has higher clocked RAM, but the Sturgeon system has RAM running at similar timings and the same clock speed as the MESH system. If you look at our Core 2 Duo review, you'll see the same occurrence.

However, latency is the best of the three. That's down to the Core 2 Duo's micro-architecture. Feel free to head back to our processor look here.

Our single-threaded Pifast test shows the MESH Elite Extreme SLI system to have a 10-second advantage over the FX-62-powered systems. You can see that the Elite and Extreme naming of the SKU is deserved thus far.
