Benchmarks: GPU
System integrators love a new high-end GPU launch, and you can see why. The likes of the Radeon HD 7950 in the PC Specialist Vanquish R4 and the GeForce GTX 670 in the Chillblast Fusion Stealth are no match for the new, faster GeForce GTX 770. Given the 780's lofty price tag, it's fair to assume that this will be the GPU of choice for many high-end gaming builds.
We know what to expect from a GeForce GTX 770 in terms of performance, and with an extra overclock thrown in, the 3XS Z87 Performance GTX has absolutely no problem in delivering a buttery smooth 1080p gaming experience.
In fact, 1080p is just too easy for a machine of this calibre. If you're considering splashing out, you might want to consider a 2,560x1,440 display to make the most of the Z87 Performance GTX's capabilities.
