Benchmarks: Power Consumption
Low idle power consumption is one of the highlights of modern PCs. The Vanquish Prodigy rests at around the 67-watt mark, yet we reckon a bit of BIOS fine-tuning could lower that figure another notch or two.
2D power consumption - defined as maximum load applied to all available CPU cores - is kept below 150 watts; a reasonable system-wide return for a Core i5-3570K running at 4.4GHz.
Mid-range power draw is one of the reasons why the GeForce GTX 660 Ti is one of our preferred high-performance cards. There's strong 1080p gaming performance on offer here, all while keeping in-game power consumption at around 200 watts.
